Okay So What's the Deal With This Game

I'll be honest, I didn't expect to get hooked on a game about a monkey running a grocery store. But here we are, three weeks later, and I'm still checking my chocolate maker's progress between classes like it's a real job. Monkey Mart unblocked is basically this chill little management sim where you play as a monkey who somehow ended up owning a supermarket, and your entire goal is to grow it from a sad little fruit stand into this massive multi-branch empire with ice cream machines and everything.

The core loop sounds boring on paper — plant stuff, harvest it, stack it on shelves, collect cash from customers. That's it. But there's something weirdly satisfying about watching your little monkey zoom around restocking bananas and corn while customers line up at the register. I started playing during a free period just to kill time and ended up losing track of forty minutes. My friend Zara actually got me into it, she was playing it on her phone during lunch and I kept glancing over until I just asked for the site.

The One Part That Kinda Bugged Me

Not gonna lie, the early game drags a little. Before you unlock assistants, you're basically running back and forth between six different stations by yourself and it gets repetitive fast, especially once you're trying to keep up with the peanut butter maker and the coffee station and the register all at once. There were a couple times I actually got mildly stressed out over a monkey grocery store, which says more about me than the game probably.

Once you hire your first assistant monkey though, everything opens up. You can actually breathe, upgrade your carrying capacity, unlock new aisles, and eventually start building out the second and third mart. The chef appliance stuff is honestly where it gets good — turning raw ingredients into muffins, cookies, and ice cream feels like an actual little factory chain you built yourself. It reminds me a lot of those old cafe management games, except somehow less stressful and more addictive, if that combination makes any sense.

You can also dress your monkey up in different hats, which does nothing for gameplay but I still spent way too long picking one out. Priorities.

Half my class plays stuff on classroom 7x during free period since the school wifi blocks basically everything else, and Monkey Mart's one of the few that actually loads instantly without any weird buffering. I usually just pull it up on classroom-7x.com whenever I've got like ten minutes to burn between classes, it's become kind of a routine at this point honestly.

Anyway, if you're looking for something low-effort but weirdly hard to put down, give it a shot. Just don't blame me when you're mentally organizing your peanut aisle during math class.
